Character: Character you plan on bringing in
Canon: One Piece, chapter 1081
Age: 26
Background Information: Wiki to Law's history
Personality:
1) Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them.
Law, most commonly known as Trafalgar Law, or the Surgeon of Death, is the captain and doctor of the pirate crew called The Heart Pirates. Law is tall, taller than a lot of people he associates with, standing at 191 cm or 6’3”. He’s also imposing and gloomy, with eyebags that show he doesn’t sleep much. He is dedicated to his craft as a doctor from a young age, having learnt a lot of what he knows from his father. He’s also very dedicated to his goal in life, planning ahead when possible. He’s quiet, calculating, and direct to the point when talking. He doesn’t try to play nice with anyone, and doesn’t pretend to like anyone. Even with Luffy, he doesn’t want to affiliate with him, but gets an alliance with the strawhat crew in order to get to his goal. That is only his shell, what he wants to show to others. When people get under his skin, like the aforementioned Luffy, he shows his more goofy side, the side of him he keeps hidden because it would ruin his image.
2) What is a driving force your character has? What goals do they have, what motivates them, etc?
Revenge. Law is out for revenge for not only the massacre of his family and everyone he knew, but also the murder of the one father figure he had. As a kid, he lived in the country call Flevance, known for their very resourceful white lead. The country was rich and flourishing, but the lead was dangerous, as it gave the people an incurable disease. Thinking this disease was contagious, the government did sent marines to get rid of everyone in the country. Law, only a young child, sick with the disease, was able to escape the country. From that day, he seeks revenge against the government and hates them all.
While sick with the white lead disease, Law was able to join the Donquixote Pirates, and train under them. That’s where he met Corazón, the man who became his father figure. The only one who believed in him as a person, not just a sick kid with no hope for the future. Corazón, or Cora-san, as the kids called him, took him all over the world to find the cure to the white lead disease, and even helped him become more cheerful and caring. Cora-san went to the trouble of stealing the Ope Ope no mi under his own brother’s nose, and giving it to Law to cure him. Law discovered Cora-san was a marine undercover, and still loved him. Sadly, Cora-san gets killed by his own brother, Doflamingo, when said brother discovers Cora-san’s betrayal.
Law spent the next 13 years plotting his revenge, to the point that he lied and manipulated people to get ahead in the New World, where every strong pirate resides. With the help of his ally, Monkey D. Luffy, Law was able to take down not only Doflamingo himself, but also his factory where he created fake devil fruits.
After one part of his plan is done, Law feels slightly better, and decides to set a new goal: To find the One Piece before Luffy or anyone else gets to it.
3) What are their flaws as a character? What is something they've messed up, or have done that they regret?
Law is flawed in the way that he doesn’t trust anyone. Even when he allies himself with Luffy, he doesn’t trust what the young man can do to help him, and thinks, of all the outcomes, that his goal won’t be met without his death. Even when Luffy manages to not only defeat Doflamingo, but also save Law in the process, Law still thinks he won’t achieve what he set out to do. He doesn’t regret much of what he’s done, but he regrets letting his family die, letting Cora-san die, letting his crew down. He feels as if he could have saved everyone if he had only been stronger. Strong enough to defeat the men he set out to defeat on his own. One thing he did wrong, according to him, is letting the Strawhat crew on his side. Sure, they helped more than anyone ever could (or would) help, but they also drove him insane. All his plans were thrown out the window, his calculated tactics all gone, and he had to team up with the last person he thought he would, Eustass Kid (another captain), to take down an Emperor of the Sea, Big Mom.
Another thing with him, is that he lets his emotions take over him when everything is at its peak and things are happening. He edges Doflamingo when he’s ready to die, even using his cut off arm to fight the man. He lets his feelings show when Doflamingo is about to kill him. He lets his feelings show when Luffy talks to him, which completely ruin his carefully constructed persona, at the peak of battle. But also, he is the kind to sacrifice himself for his crew, sending them away so they won’t see him die, not showing the worst side of him.
4) Optional: What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd?
Law doesn’t like bread, because he got used to not eating it to imitate Cora-san. He also really, really, really likes super heroes, ninjas, and robots.
He also has a bunch of tattoos, on his arms, chest, shoulders, hands, and knuckles. Some of them are hearts, the ones in his knuckles, that spell DEATH, and the ones on his hands, and arms, that are stylized crosses.
Law also wears a very peculiar hat, a variation of a hat he had as a child, which is white, fluffy, and has a spotted pattern. Even when it’s hot he uses it.
Abilities & Inventory: Abilities and powers wiki link
as for inventory, Law has the clothes he wore out of Wano, his hat, and his sword. Nothing else.
His fruit powers absolutely need to be nerfed, as he is, in little words, too o.p. for anything but the canon itself. He needs to be able to make a Room, but I think the space he can use it on shouldn't be infinite, but finite and uses more stamina than usual. All his attacks probably should use more stamina, except for the use of his sword as he doesn't use his fruit powers for it.

ARMADA SELECTION
Corsair because Law is a pirate in his canon, hater of the government and the celestial dragons, to the point that he sought revenge against them since a young age. He revels against those who try to control him in any way, shape, or form. And he has shady ways of dealing with things, such as cutting people up to cure them.
